Walter is the Managing Director for HPI Energy Services Ltd in the United Kingdom.
Walter has over 30 years of engineering and business experience in the rotating equipment industry including control systems design; maintenance support for critical rotating equipment including asset management; sales & marketing; contract management and general management.
Walter began his career at Hawker Siddeley Dynamics Engineering (HSDE – later part of Vosper Thornycroft) where he designed the ‘black box’ DIGICON® range of gas turbine controllers. His career further developed into Sales & Marketing, Engineering and Contract Management. He later joined Performance Improvement Ltd, responsible for the contract management of long term maintenance support for critical rotating equipment for the Oil & Gas Industry, followed by a role at Wood Group as Business Director where he helped establish a new business providing asset management services for critical rotating equipment.
Walter then joined his former HSDE/VT colleagues at HPI in 2011, joining the board of the UK company in 2014 .
